I had the incredible opportunity to talk to Phil Collen from Def Leppard about their upcoming show at SunTrust Park with Journey. The'll be playing Sunday, July 1st! I cannot wait! Surprisingly, Phil is about to have a son who is also named Jackson. We talk about the success of Def Leppard and how all these years affect the way they make music today. We also touch on Phil's idea of what music today sounds like and what it may be lacking. That and so much more in this episode! Enjoy!

Whiskey Tango on today's episode! These are some crazy characters and one hell of a ROCK band! I really enjoyed getting to talk them and getting to know more about their story. I had to get their take on a conspiracy theory I'm obsessed with and it got interesting. As with all the bands, we talk the Atlanta ROCK scene and the amazing support that each band gives to others. As always, the 20 questions game which got kinda weird..but what else would you expect! Also, I had to implement a new rule on the podcast; EAT before you come on the podcast. We're drinking beers haha! I say that with love and humor because I wouldn't have it any other way. Debauchery all the way! Enjoy!

Mirthless on the podcast today! Such a cool group of guys. I heard them playing downstairs at Smith's Olde Bar one night when I was emceeing upstairs, went to check them out and knew I had to have them on the podcast. Metal doesn't get enough love in this city and that's something I am trying to change. I love all things ROCK/Metal. We talk the metal scene here in Atlanta, being a fan of music, how they came to be, the very popular 20 questions game and as always...tons of laughs! You'll also hear "Surrendered Passages" of their Familiar Shelter. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

First ever back-to-back guests! Flashback Flash joining me again for #35! They are playing at Smith's Olde bar Friday night with yours truly emceeing, so of course I had to have my boys back in! This is 2.0 of the nonsense and insanity from their first SCOPED appearance. Guest callers, more personal questions for the band, intro'ing a new segment that needs a lot of work, surprise in-studio pop-ins and a lot more on this episode of the podcast. My apologies for referring to one of them as an older version of a GAP model haha. Step into my world!

Flashback Flash is my guest today on the podcast! This is really cool group of guys who play some kickass ROCK here in Atlanta. I love how the podcast is developing and the word is getting around, because I am now getting to meet bands through other bands that have been on. I met Flashback Flash through the Buzzards of Fuzz, a band here in Atlanta who are Scoped veterans. We talk the local scene, rock in general, social media, over-saturation of the market, and regular Scoped nonsense. I was shocked at how intellectual this band was. Some of their answers during the 20 questions game will surprise you. One of the members and I possibly talk about raising kids together, but it's more interesting than it sounds. Thank you guys for being part of my craziness! Step into my world....

Prime Mover on the podcast today! I am a huge metal-head and am stoked to be getting more of it on the podcast! Rock/Metal is a huge passion of mine and I am so glad to live in a city with such thriving scenes. Prime Mover is opening for my favorite death metal band of all time, SepticFlesh Wednesday, March 14th at the Masquerade. We talk about plenty more besides the show, including Atlanta's large, under-the-radar metal scene, some of our past 'beer and debauchery moments,' we get to know Josh and Alan from the band and as always, 20 questions! This episode debunks the myth people have about metal musicians/fans. These are good, kickass people that just like to bang their head and get their aggression out!

Death of Kings on the podcast today! This is Amos Rifkin's third time and it's always a kickass time! They have a show coming up this Saturday, March 10th with Municipal Waste and Exodus at the Masquerade and it's going to be insane. We talk all things Death of Kings, the state of metal and the local scene, the 6 different bands he's in, etc. The guy is honestly one of the hardest workers I've ever met. As always, 20 questions! You get to hear Regicidal of their latest album and a ton more! Step into my world....

The Fill Ins on the podcast today! This is a kickass group of guys out of Charlotte, NC who are doing everything they can to keep the ROCK alive. Great conversation talking about the differences between the rock scenes in Charlotte vs. Atlanta, how bands come together, the importance of social media and as always, 20 questions! I really enjoyed having these guys on. Had a blast!

The DIRTY THIRTY! We reached our 30th episode! Glad to have my boys from Greco back on the podcast. This is their third time as a band being on and Josh's fourth time. This one gets a little wild. I'm calling this the Mom episode...we call a couple moms. I've had a lot of crazy times with this band and each time they appear on the podcast, stories start to come out. We talk ROCK music, what's going on with them, call moms, compare superpowers and try our damn hardest to name the great ROCK songs. Debauchery all the way! Enjoy!

It all started with these guys! March of 2016 I decided to start a podcast and could think of no better first guest than my buddies from The Ides of June! I grew up with two of them, partied with them and loved the success they were having here in Atlanta. I had no idea what to expect when I started this journey or where it would go. It has far exceeded my expectations. With that comes even higher expectations and other goals/success to reach. It was great to have these guys back on, especially since they brought the rest of the band with them this time (Alex and Justin). We talk dating, Valentine's Day, Aliens, the growing Atlanta ROCK scene and regular ole Scoped nonsense. This episode is also the premiere of the podcast's new theme music recorded by the Buzzards of Fuzz!
