Wicked Animal is my special guest today! Awesome group of guys. It's not often I interview a band that I've never met or seen their live show, so we completely went into this without knowing anything about each other. I think that made the conversation even better, finding out first hand how crazy we all are! We hit on the time I tried calf brains, my desire to go to the Farmer's Market, what makes Wicked Animal different from other bands in Atlanta, Tim's trouble with the high dive and as always, 20 questions. Resident One is my special guest today! I love punk rock! That music brings back some wild days for me. Great having these guys in talking about Atlanta's punk rock scene, which is surprisingly quite larger than people realize. We also hit on my love of death metal and when I met my two favorites, the damning possibilities of the internet today, the sucky technology we had as kids (which was actually a good thing) and Calculus of Multiple Variables. Got to throw in some intelligence every now and then, I guess. Enjoy!

Always great to have A. Rippin Production on the podcast! I'm emceeing a music showcase for them at the Clermont Lounge once a month..Beer and Lounging at the Clermont Lounge. I did my first one for them last month and it is so much fun! This will quickly become the thing to do in Atlanta. To experience it, you have to be there. No cameras or videoing at the Clermont. Going to start doing an episode with them leading up to the show each other so you know what to expect. Plenty of craziness as always!

SCOPED #43 FT. ORDER OF THE OWL (Atlanta Metal Band)

Wow! What a hell of a time! After damn near eight months of trying, I finally got Order of the Owl on the podcast. Our schedules just never seemed to match up and it was starting to drive me insane. I've known Casey for quite a while and had the pleasure of toasting many beers with him at concerts around Atlanta. I was DEFINITELY the least cool person in the room during this conversation, talking about how the band got started, new stuff they're working on, the current culture of making music, Atlanta's metal scene and a DEBAUCHERY-FILLED round of 20 questions. A Slow Boat To China is my guest today! Wow, what a cool group of guys. They really knew their rock history and had quite an insight into all things ROCK. What don't we cover in this episode? We talk how they started as a band, what they are currently working on, dabble in some Rolling Stones and Slipknot banter and as always, 20 questions. I was quite surprised to find out that Jimmy had brought his daughter to in the interview and they had me convinced that she was the band manager. You'll discover why this information shocked me during the interview. You even get to hear "Novum" off their 2017 EP "Myopic!" So...step into my world!

CITIZEN GOLD PART 2 - A CITIZENS OPINION

No intro or music needed for this one. The sad thing is, the mics are sometimes not turned on when the best conversation on the podcast is happening. Luckily, I caught a little bit of it. SOMETIMES, band members like to invite their girlfriends/wives up to crash the party. They think this will make me behave. No, no. Another Monster, producer and extraordinaire for Citizen Gold, had his girlfriend Anna up to sit-in with us after we finished. #40! Citizen Gold is my special guest today. I met these guys at Smith's and damn..they make you move. Think of an amped up New Orleans street feel. This is a band with a great sound and they made for a killer interview. We talk about how they got started, what they think on the Atlanta scene, the role of social media in the music business, and as always, the 20 questions game. I finally got them back! My great friends, The Stir, are my special guests today and DAMN, it was a good one! They are fixing to hit the road once again with Fozzy, going out on a five week trek. It's all getting kicked off Friday at Smiths Olde Bar. This is just such a killer group of guys and I always enjoy getting to talk to them. They just put out their debut album, respectively titled The Stir. In the episode, you get to hear Nightsfit and it'll give you chills.
