SCOPED #17 FT. THE FUTURE BABES (Atlanta Rock Band)

This episode features The Future Babes on episode 17. Once again, as always, the conversation goes everywhere. Great group of guys who are very talented and very humble. Two members are returning guests. I really dig the style they play because it's unlike most in Atlanta. They have a very unique, cool vibe to their sound and you can hear a lot of their musical influences in the song. It's really hard to nail down all the topics we covered. Of course, as always, we talk Atlanta ROCK and give all bands plenty of love. I had to bring up my experience watching "What The Health" on Netflix and the damage it did to me. There is a lot on this one...give it a listen and enjoy!

SCOPED #16 FT. HOT RAM (Atlanta Metal Band)

Finally, some METAL on the podcast. No matter if its rock, metal or any of the sub-genres of each, I'm into it. In this episode, we discuss the metal in all its forms, the different sub genres, how this affects the genre as a whole..and as always...some good old fashioned story telling. It was really cool to have a hard rocking metal band on the podcast and I will definitely have more on. Also, this episode features their song "Evil Elf" and all I can say is that it is kickass!

Wow! This episode features my first returning guest, Josh Greco of the band Greco! This guy has become a good friend and I'm glad we could sit down and talk. He's one hell of a talented guitar player and an even better person. In this episode, we cover his London trip, my Facebook hack, Bands working their ass off, his love of Jimmy Page and a ton more. We even had a chance to play 21 questions. Listen to all 2 hours and your reward will be Josh and I buying you a beer and having you on the podcast to talk ROCK with us. I had Hannah Zale of the band "Zale" on this episode and I was blown away by her. She is such a badass, knows what she wants and is fighting like hell to get there. She is definitely going places. Amazing episode of the "Scoped" Podcast. We talk to all these bands about what it's like to play in Atlanta and now I wanted to hear from one of the venues. These places work so hard to keep the Atlanta rock scene thriving.....and they are kicking ass at it! Wonderful group of people who really know their ROCK! Smith's Olde Bar is as Atlanta as it gets! SCOPED #11 FT. DOUG ALDRICH OF THE DEAD DAISES

On this episode of the "Scoped" podcast, Doug Aldrich joined me to talk about his band "The Dead Daises" and their current tour in support of their album, "Live and Louder." They are doing 12 North American shows which they have named "The Dirty Dozen" tour. Doug is a super cool guy who has been in the world of rock for years and brings such a wealth of knowledge to the rock conversation. With that being said, ENJOY!

OK.....so I had this interview with four brothers who happen to live together and play music together. Somehow, they have managed not to kill each other! Greco on the podcast today and what an amazing interview. It's hard to list all the topics we discuss, because there are just so many. I'd have to say my favorite two are rice pudding in New York and the phone call with my mother. All things rock and all things brotherly love....that was my interview with Greco. I love having the ability to continue this rock conversation with amazing bands who are working hard and kicking ass right here in Atlanta. This was really fun and you'll certainly enjoy it!.

Wow! This rock conversation could've easily lasted 5 hours! The knowledge this band brings to the rock conversation is surreal. Their passion for what they do is truly inspiring. We talk about 60's and 70's rock and the purity of that era and their mission to continue and build on the legacy. If you watch their music video "Southern Gentleman," you'll a lady that will cause you to forget that anyone else is in the video....and her name is Diana Prince. Cool music, cool guys, and all things ROCK! Step into my world!
